Fine Arts Philosophy

The fine arts curriculum at Cornerstone Christian Academy and Pusch Ridge Christian Academy has its foundation in the school’s distinctive philosophy of education. 

We believe that our students have been created in God’s image and therefore reflect the attributes of the creator-God. As bearers of God’s creative stamp, we glorify Him in the expression of truth and beauty through dramatic performance. 

We believe that the transcendent power of human artistic expression has the ability to create what C.S. Lewis called “reflected truth and wisdom.” Since God has given us His Word, He expects us to act on his Word – and our job is to share the Word through our art.

Most importantly, we desire that our students experience God’s pleasure in their artistic craft as they seek to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever!
